If you are interested in sharing a room to lower costs for the trip please email us at with “Purdue – Hotel” in the subject line.

A coach bus will transport you from West Layfayette, IN to Dayton, OH (free of charge) departing at 9AM where you will check into the Marriot at the University of Dayton (1414 S Patterson Blvd, Dayton, OH 45409 – (937) 223-1000) around 1 pm. While lodging in Dayton, OH will be free of charge, a credit card will be needed to check in to cover incidentals for the room. The conference is not responsible for any damages or room service during your stay. You will receive your rooming assignment a few days before your arrival. Checkout will be at 11 am on Tuesday August 11th. Shuttles will be arranged to transport attendees to DAY airport every hour between 9am and 1pm. There will be a coach bus departing the hotel at 9 am to return back to Purdue around 1 pm. Frequent shuttles to both ORD and IND airports from the Purdue Memorial Union are available and can be booked through Express Air Coach (only for ORD), Reindeer Shuttle, and Lafayette Limo.

Airplane: We recommend you to fly into Indianapolis International Airport and out of Dayton International Airport (DAY). During the booking process use the multi-city option which will give you reasonable airfare quotes as opposed to book two separate one-way fares. If you are experiencing trouble please contact Terrance Rooney at  If you obtain rates much cheaper by flying in and out of one city, please select Indianapolis International Airport. Select a flight time in the evening of Tuesday, August 7th to ensure an ample amount of time for transport to the airport.

Driving: For students who plan to drive to Purdue, you may park your car ($2 parking permit per day) and ride the coach bus to and from Dayton, OH. If you would like to drive to each portion of the conference you are free to do so – we strongly encourage carpooling. University of Dayton students who plan to attend both halves of the conference please contact for more information regarding carpooling or van service.
